THANKS GIVING DAY
Hi friends, tomorrow and day after tomorrow there is a huge celebration in America which is known as THANKS GIVING DAY. In every respect i think it is so nice and must be celebrated because every person needs a help in his social, official and daily life but due to partial carelessness or slight engagement one does not manage time to say thanks to his closest one by whom he is helped. To take a help is not bad but to forget it is bad. We must remember if we are helped by someone or at least say thanks to all who made your life easier and keeping it in mind USA started a thanks giving day which is really nice and gives a moral lesson to be friendly as well as helpful to those who seeks help.
Most government offices, businesses, schools and other organizations are closed on Thanksgiving Day. Many offices and businesses allow staff to have a four-day weekend so these offices and businesses also closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving Day. Public transit systems do not usually operate on their regular timetables.
Thanksgiving Day it is one of the busiest periods for travel in the USA. This can cause congestion and overcrowding. Seasonal parades and busy football games can cause disruption to local traffic.
Thanksgiving Day has been an annual holiday in the United States since 1863. Not everyone sees Thanksgiving Day as a cause for celebration. Each year since 1970, a group of Native Americans and their supporters have staged a protest for a National Day of Mourning at Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving Day. American Indian Heritage Day is also observed at this time of the year.
There are claims that the first Thanksgiving Day was held in the city of El Paso, Texas in 1598. Another early event was held in 1619 in the Virginia Colony. Many people trace the origins of the modern Thanksgiving Day to the harvest celebration that the Pilgrims held in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1621. However, their first true thanksgiving was in 1623, when they gave thanks for rain that ended a drought. These early thanksgivings took the form of a special church service, rather than a feast.
In the second half of the 1600s, thanksgivings after the harvest became more common and started to become annual events. However, it was celebrated on different days in different communities and in some places there were more than one thanksgiving each year. George Washington, the first president of the United States, proclaimed the first national Thanksgiving Day in 1789.
So friends come closer and develop a friendly atmosphere around you because you can not achieve all without a help, Helping hands are the precious gift of god and one must enjoy and say thanks, It is also fact that for any kind of help there is no return but if you say thanks --- you feel good. So donot forget to say thanks. So thanks to you all and have a nice day

BEST LUCK SACHIN
Hi friends, as we all know a clash between two titans India and Westindies is going to be start from tomorrow onwards in Eaden Garden Calcutta and all eyes are on the one and only little genius Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. It is also a fact that we have always a lot more expectation from him with is not good but we can do nothing against our over flowing emotions. This little genius has left a great and endless impact on our heart and it is too tough for us to come out from it. Each and every innocent heart only wants a ton from master blaster to complete a long awaited MAHASHATAK. So Sachin come on and do the rest i mean fulfill our demand---i know you can do it---so come on yaar because we are loosing our patience boss. I think it is too togh for a man but you are God and for a God --nothing is impossible. I do remember an incident when Sachin was playing against Srilanka in Mumbai and a spectator holding a banner in his hand where it was written beautifully------" I HAVE SEEN A GOD WHO OPENS BATTING FOR INDIA." It is a huge amount of respect because we love him more than our lives because he always gives us a reason to laugh and feel good.
Andrew Flintoff: Allan Donald: "During our team meetings, we often speak about the importance of the first 12 balls to Tendulkar. If you get him then you can thank your stars, otherwise it could mean that tough times lie ahead." Andrew Symonds: Ravi Shashtri: Mark Taylor: Brain Lara: Barry Richards: Martin Crowe: Paul Strang: Steve Waugh: Shane Warne: Mathew Hayden: Dennis Lillie: Steve Waugh: Shane Warne: Wasim Akram: Brett Lee: BBC Sports: Wasim Akram: Sunil Gavaskar: Richie Benaud: Geoffrey Boycott: Eddie Barlow: Greg Chappell: Abdul Qadir: Sir Garfield Sobers: Peter Roebuck: Jeff Thompson: Ian Healy: Mike Coward: Hashim Amla: Shahrukh Khan: Martina Navratilova: Alistair Campbell: David Boon: Cricket Historian Vasant Raiji: Steve Waugh: Adam Hollioke: Tony Greig: Allan Border: (after India won the Coca-Cola cup ) Ajay Jadeja: David Gower: Gavaskar..back in 1988 to tom alter: Desmond Haynes: Mark Taylor: Wasim: "Tuzhe pata hai tune kiska catch chhoda hai?" Wasim Akram to Abdul Razzaq when the latter dropped Sachin's catch. Allan Donald: Anil Kumble: The thing I admire most about this man is his poise. The way he moves, elegantly without ever looking out of place in any condition or company, suggests his pedigree. I remember he had once come to New Delhi in the 1990s to collect his Arjuna Award (India's highest award to its top sportspersons) and he asked me if I would attend the function. He is a very sensitive human being…. Greame Pollock: Ravi Shastri: "His mind is like a computer. He stores data on bowlers and knows where they are going to pitch the ball." Mark Taylor: Playing in the same team as Sachin is a huge honour. His balance of mind, shrewd judgement, modesty and, above all, his technical brilliance make him my all-time hero... You can't get a more complete cricketer than Sachin. He has everything that a cricketer needs to have. As a batsman, he has the technique, the hunger and the desire for runs. He always contributes with the bat as well as on the field. He also is a good fielder and bowls when needs. You really can't ask for a better cricketer than Sachin... He is a terrific person and has handled pressure brilliantly. He has handled his success very well and doesn't have any airs about him. He is a great guy and very good team man. In his heart of hearts, he is a very simple and down to earth person. Azhar: The more I see him, the more I want to see him. Sunil Gavaskar: Harsha bhogle: The thing I like most about Sachin is his intensity. After being in the game for so long, he still has the same desire to do well for India in any international match.I tell you what, this man is a legend. Kris Srikkanth: "He is the only match-winning batsman we have" Ranatunga: "You get him out and half the battle is won Andy Flower: Martin Crowe: You have to decide for yourself whether you're bowling well or not. He's going to hit you for fours and sixes anyway. Kasprowicz has a superior story. During the Bangalore Test, frustrated, he went to Dennis Lillee and asked, "Mate, do you see any weaknesses?" Lillee replied, "No Michael, as long as you walk off with your pride that's all you can do". Rudy Kortzen: "I never get tired during umpiring whenever sachin is on crease" sunny gavaskar: This was after a wonderful century by sachin(in england i guess in a test match..not sure) Sunny: The other day i was just trying to think of a bowler who can go through sachin's defenses when sachin is in total defense. I am sorry but i could not think of even one name who could do that. If sachin decides he doesnt want to give away his wicket, he wont. be it any bowler in the world. Cheers to Sachin... So guys it is endless and many more comments are still waiting and i will present before you next time. So cheer up and pray to god for his best |
HOW TO ADJUST YOUR ATTITUDE FOR SUCCESS
Hi friends, as i had written tomorrow my view on attitude which was appreciated by some friends and it really gave me a boot to go for more and more. I have faced many times ups and downs in my 12 years of professional carrier but there is always many more to learn from your failure and it makes you so strong and tough both mentally as well as morally. What i learnt from it to be positive and intact your positive attitude at any rate. So guys never loose your courage and think positive. I do remember a million dollars statement of Napoleon Bonapart which was used by him while he was addressing to his armies------"see guys now you have nothing to eat but across the river there is a fertile land and everything is available but it need your hard work and courage--now choice is yours." Believe me friends it worked like a tonic for discouraged soldiers and finally they restored their energy and got succeed. So you have nothing to loose courage but need to go hard with full courage and believe me tomorrow is yours.
Let’s face the facts here. Each individual has a choice in life. It is possible to allow outside factors to have an influence on our goals in life. They can have an impact in a negative way, by letting people with bad attitudes play a dominant role in our lives; or we can eliminate those people altogether and focus on surrounding ourselves with positive influences. Everyone is the master of his or her own atmosphere. Nobody else should be allowed to influence that.
If you have a bad attitude, then everyone you live and work with will notice. And this certainly does not endear you to them. A bad attitude is a like a bad smell – it is something that people will go out of their way to avoid. This certainly is not going to do wonders towards the enhancement of your career.
Once you have arrived at the point wherein you know what you want to do in life, you should then try to compose a mental image of all the people in that field who have come before you and succeeded. Try to read books by or about those individuals. If it is possible, then you should also try to connect with them on a personal basis. By surrounding ourselves with successful individuals, we increase our own chances of becoming successful at work.
If a situation is stressful, then having a bad attitude will only make it worse. On the contrary, those who have positive attitudes often have the power of transforming a stressful, negative situation in to a positive one – with the force of their mere presence. If you want to be successful at work, then you will want to avoid becoming a “mood polluter.”
Mood polluters are those individuals whose mere presence destroys the atmosphere. Not only do such individuals create stress and make others reluctant to deal with them, they also do themselves a lot of harm by effectively discouraging promotion and other positive perks that might come to them otherwise.
If you think you might be a mood polluter, then one way of changing your ways is to utilize positive affirmation. This is a technique wherein you try to eliminate all the negative thoughts in your head and replace them with positive thoughts.
By making positive affirmations, we take control of our own destinies and develop our attitudes in to tools for long-term success. Positive affirmation simultaneously provides us with the energy that we need to go out there in to the world and accomplish our goals, one at a time.
So cheer up and make your sustained and determined efforts for better tomorrow. thanks a lot and have a nice weekend
